Calificado en Estados Unidos el 13 de febrero de 2017I was reticent to make this purchase after reading about the weakness of AMD drivers and the frequent coil whine under load that many users were reporting. I can not speak on the front of drivers, because that is a shared pain of all AMD users- though I can say the issue has been minimal for me (some flickering in a few games such as 7 days to die and Cities:Skyline). This is not a problem with the card, but rather an ongoing battle with Catalyst drivers- and if you are considering using an AMD card you should already be aware of those limitations. If you are not, consider this a fair warning: AMD drivers are not 100% stable and you may occasionally have issues. Only you can decide if some such minor inconveniences are enough to dissuade you from the cost to performance advantage of a Fury.
The Fury, as opposed to the Fury X (as I am sure you want to know) is extremely similar. It has a slightly lower clock speed, and uses physical fans rather than a water cooler. The Fury tends to overestimate how much power it needs (see later in the review for details) so downvolting can lower the power demands of the card with almost no performance deficit. This is not a major reduction, but significant enough. Overclocking goes the same way. It can not overclock significantly while remaining stable, though you can definitely push it a little harder than default if you really want those extra frames.
The AMD Fury goes toe to toe with the NVIDIA 980, and even trades blows with the 1070, although it definitely comes in well underneath it. Considering the card is 200 dollars cheaper, this is pretty impressive as far as I am concerned. Whether it will meet your needs definitely depends on what you want to do. At 1080p this card RIPS- I easily push enough frames to my 144 hz monitor (freesync baby!) even in modern games. If you are in 1080p and using a standard 60hz monitor, you will be more than satisfied for quite some time with this card. For the price, if you are running 1080p (1920x1080) this card is a no-brainer. It will 100% meet your needs
If you are looking at going up to 1440p or higher, you will find that this card performs admirably for the time it was released. It outshines the 1060 with ease, though you will see it struggle to keep up with the newest NVIDIA tech. If you want the latest and greatest, understand that 1440+ is still new and therefore expensive. If you are trying to use the latest and greatest, buying an older card like this is probably not a sound investment. It will work great, but it is not futureproof. If you are on a budget, this will suit you- but don't be surprised when you feel like the kid that brought the mustang to the supercar race. Temper your expectations.
Lastly and HUGELY important- please understand this is a POWER HOG. The coil whine that many users complain about, from what I have gathered in my troubleshooting since getting the card, is often due to power strain. I had coil whine, performance issues, crashes...the works. I was convinced the card was a lemon or not compatible with my system... but I decided to stress test my power supply and it turns out I was not getting enough power through my 12A rails to keep this beast happy. I upgraded to a 850W power supply (I run an all AMD system, so power is a big deal) and all coil whine has disappeared, and performance has been wonderful.
Bear in mind this card is MASSIVE. Like...physically large. More than a foot long. I have an NZXT full case, and I had to remove several drive bays to fit it. Do not buy this card if you do not have a large case. Check the length of the card and measure if it will fit. Having it arrive and not being able to get it into your computer would be a MASSIVE disappointment.
I recommend this card as best in class for the price. If you want the top of the line AMD- go ahead and get the X for the cooling solution, but pound for pound and dollar for dollar I think this was the perfect choice for me. If you want a BEAST 1080p machine, or a serviceable but antiquated 1440+ machine, this is a solid choice. If you can afford the latest tech, go for it, but for those of us looking for a price to performance ratio...the Fury is a solid option.

Calificado en Estados Unidos el 5 de agosto de 2016Speaking in terms of graphics and gaming, this is an enormously powerful card, a very good upgrade from my previous GTX 970. This should handle any current game with easy and future-proof your system a bit. The real stand-out spec for this card: most cards have a 256 to 512-bit memory bus--the memory bus on the R9 Fury is 4096 bits.
Physically, the card is huge, a full 30 cm long. Unless you have a very large case, you will probably wind up buying a new case to accommodate it. Even the Rosewill Blackhawk case required the removal of one of the drive bays so that the card would fit.
The card is heavy and unwieldy because of it; use caution when installing and secure the card well with a screw. Beware of cases with "friendly" snap-fit card retainers without screws: you don't want this card swiveling about under its own weight when you move the computer.
Using the dual BIOS, you can choose between the default 260 W setting (temp target 75 C, LED off), and a 300 W (temp target 80 C, LED on) setting.
A terrific card if your wallet and your case can handle it.

Calificado en Estados Unidos el 13 de mayo de 2021Stopped working not long after the 30 day return date was up. Basically told me I was screwed because it was after the 30 day's. Then proceeded to tell their is a graphics card shortage. No duh, thats why I bought a used one from you.
Update-September 17,2022
The graphics card is still worthless. Also have tried to put the card in another computer. Did the same green symbols all over the screen. My computer is up and running with a brand new graphics card. Even though they tried to tell me it was maybe my power supply or other bs reasons. They also tried to tell me to take the graphics card apart and apply more thermal paste?? Uhhh no not happening. Also I talked to a computer repair guy and he told me the graphics card I bought is worthless and can't be fixed if it does this. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

Calificado en Estados Unidos el 20 de octubre de 2016I bought this card in Early August when it was $350, which is still a good price for this card. Now they are approaching $300 and below so this probobably indicates AMD is preparing for the Polaris version of this card in the rx 400 series.
Anyways wanted a GPU that would absolutely blast anything in 1080p with dual 27 inch monitors for gaming. So far I am very pleased with it. Battefield 4 runs on ultra settings above 100FPS almost constantly even stretched out on both monitors. War Thunder approaches 200FPS when I play without vsync, but a little coil whine occurs when high FPS above 170 occur. This is no concern as it is very soft and I wear headphones for my audio. All other games break 100fps constantly.
Overall this card exceeded my expectations and am very happy with it.
One note to say is the size of the card. There are not many cards that are over a foot long, and might not fit in some cases without removing a drive bay. My NZXT S340 case fits it with no problem. My only other concern is the GPU sag due it its size and weight, but I presume the card and the PCi slot were designed with this in mind.
I would definitely recommend this card at the current price and more so if it dips below 300, as some 8gb rx 480 cards are reaching this price and the Fury is at least 1.5 times as powerful (Crossfire 480's would be better than this in performance but not price). OC'ing is not a strong point for this card. I got to 1127 MHz without crashing constantly, but this card does not really need it.

5.0 de 5 estrellas Insane Price/Performance
Great card. Running at 60 Celsius on max load, using a -96 undervolt. Fans do not turn on without any load. Games run 60+ FPS at 1080p, ranging from GTA V, Rainbow Six Siege, and Battlefield 4. Modded New Vegas runs 50-80 with upscaled textures and an ENB, Fallout 4 likewise, maybe even better.
Battlegrounds runs around 40-70 depending on location at high-ultra settings, and the amount of players in the area.
Lowering settings can achieve full 144hz, which I utilized with Battlefield 4 and Rainbow Six Siege.
All in all, this was a very much worthy upgrade from my SLI 770's, and knowing the Vulkan support and AMD updates, I'd assume this card should hopefully age like wine.
