Sí, en htcmania o en xda está todo lo relacionado con ROMs.

Tené en cuenta que, para flashear ROMs, hay que rootear e instalar un custom recovery (ej. TWRP). En esas webs hay tutoriales y en YouTube también. No es algo complicado siempre y cuando sigas los pasos de los tutoriales para no tener problemas.
Para rootear nada más, podés usar Framaroot o King Root. Son apps que instalás y, si son compatibles con tu celular, te lo rootea. Si no son compatibles, te va a decir que no está rooteado. Las desinstalás y chau. Obviamente, ninguna está en la Play Store.

Yo había usado Towelroot para rootear mi teléfono hace más de un año y medio. No sé si sigue funcionando.
